We show you Spanish food and wine excellence through hands-on cooking classes and wine tastings, all of them performed in a local in the center of Madrid. In our classes, participants prepare their own meal in small teams, which can then be enjoyed at the end of the class. All cooking is done under the guidance of our experienced chef. Instructions are in English and no cooking experience is required.
Learning not just about Spanish food but also how to make it, offers the perfect take-home experience that will stay with you forever. There is not a single definition of tapa, as it is anything that fits on a small plate, and a typical way of eating out. In this practical lesson you’ll prepare 5 renowned traditional tapas and 1 dessert while you learn about Spanish eating and drinking customs.
The menu is composed of:
★ Tortilla de patatas (Spanish potato omelet).
★ Chorizos a la sidra (sausage in cider).
★ Gambas al ajillo (garlic shrimp).
★ Patatas bravas (potatoes with spicy sauce).
★ Pa amb tomàquet (bread with tomato and cured ham).
★ Dessert of crema catalana (Catalan crème).
After cooking, all participants sit down around the table to enjoy the meal, and to share experiences and joy with their cooking buddies.
